Capturing the Essence of Lookbooks

I’ve been diving deeper into lookbook photography recently and I can’t stress enough how important it is to focus on details that enhance the overall narrative of the piece. Last week, I spent hours experimenting with natural light versus artificial setups, and I noticed a huge difference in how the clothing textures popped. What strategies do you all use to make your lookbooks stand out?

I’ve found that using reflectors really enhances natural light. Last shoot, it helped bring out the textures beautifully! What types of backgrounds are you using for your lookbooks?
