I manage projects with Gantt charts and critical paths, and I’m trying to apply the same discipline to my fall wardrobe: trend forecasts, delivery dates, tailoring lead times, and weekly outfit rotations on one timeline. Is there a tool or template that handles this without me juggling screenshots and sticky notes - something to track purchases, returns, and what’s wearable when?
I’d use Airtable with the Gantt or Timeline view: each item is a task with order date, ETA, return-by, and tailoring start/finish, with dependencies so “wearable from” auto-calculates and your weekly rotation is just a filtered calendar. Easiest start is duplicating their Product Launch template, renaming the milestones to Delivery/Tailor/Dry Clean, and adding an automation that pings you 48 hours before a return window closes.
I’ve built this in Notion: one database where each piece has order date, ETA, return-by, tailor start/finish, and a formula that sets “wearable from” to the later of ETA or tailor finish, then a Timeline view grouped by category. The tiny hack that helped most is marking one anchor per outfit and making shoes the dependency, since they gate half my looks like a true critical path item. I also set a reminder 48 hours before return-by to dodge restocking fees.
