Kinda low for full-time fashion design, even entry level β€” what’s the actual scope (tech packs only, or original silhouettes, fittings, vendor comms)? Are there benefits or an equipment stipend, and is this W-2 with PTO or 1099 hourly?

That pay range feels entry-level production, not a full-time designer β€” especially for U.S. remote. Do they list benefits (health, PTO, 401k) and whether it’s W-2 with an Adobe stipend or just 1099?

I took a remote β€œdesigner” gig at $21/hr that turned out to be 90% tech packs and vendor emails with no benefits. Ask for the exact seasonal deliverables (SKUs, fittings), confirm W-2 vs 1099 and benefits, and who pays for Adobe/equipment before you commit.

At that rate, I’d only consider it if they put the seasonal deliverables in writing - SKUs per drop, number of fittings, and whether OT is paid during sample crunch. Also ask who pays for the Adobe license and if there’s a hardware stipend; I once ate $60/month and late-night edits because that wasn’t spelled out.
